A practical and powerful approach for increasing happiness, personal growth and organizational effectiveness.
20 Loves A Workbook for Rediscovery 1 Steve Burchell
First of all, I must divulge that Steve is a friend. In this case that fact bolsters my review because I can say unreservedly that Steve practices what he teaches. The man might have a list of wished-for adventures, hobbies, or 'loves', but I doubt if there's many that he's not practiced or realized on a personal level. The workbook features are not just theoretical, but practical tools. 20 Loves is about "self help", not in the pedantic sense of reading, or being taught, but allowing me to teach myself what gems I can shake loose from my own life experiences. No tool is useful unless someone picks it up and learns how to use it, so this is not a lazy person's way of realization but one that means a certain amount of commitment. I like 20 loves, and plan on using it ongoing as a tool to find new ways of realizing my dreams. Thanks, Steve!

20 Loves A Workbook for Rediscovery 1 Steve Burchell Reviews
This is a great set of exercises for anyone who wants to declutter and re-prioritize their life. In this age where we are constantly being pulled in different directions by a variety of distractions, this helpful guide leads you to figure out what you want in life and how to go for it. Steve is a great guy and has written this book based on decades of applying its principles in different settings. Why not spend your life going after what truly matters to you?
20 loves is as advertised a practical guide for change and rediscovery. I actually see quite a few uses for it. Perhaps simply listing the things you believe you love and weighting whether you actually spend any time on them as a guide for where you want to go. You could use it to build a bucket list of goals you believe you would love to achieve this side of eternity. I used it to focus on relational/spiritual side of my life and found it easy to list the types of things which I really love i.e. connecting with my wife on a heart/mind level, being on mission when there is an effectual purpose, empowering others via actionable teaching/coaching/opportunity. I also listed things that I hope will be life giving which I am in the planning stages for like learning to grow food yielding plants. I kind of made up my own grading system based on whether these were current activities or not and a percentage denoting my current engagement. My point is, this was fun and quite flexible and I am going to be referring to the list I made as a beneficial tool as I continue into the future. Go for it, historically we are here for a very brief time and making the most of it can be a gas.
